Delegation of the State audit institution of Montenegro at the XI EUROSAI Congress

Podgorica, 14th April 2021 - Delegation of the State audit institution of Montenegro, led by President of Senate, Milan Dabović PhD and member of Senate, Zoran Jelić, general secretary of the Institution, Dobrila Glomazić and state auditor - head of the Department for international cooperation Marija Žugić have participated at the XI EUROSAI Congress – Congress of the European organization of supreme audit institutions, which has been organized in virtual format.

The XI EUROSAI Congress has been dedicated to the achievements and results of the EUROSAI organization and reports of the EUROSAI task forces and working groups focusing on implementation of the EUROSAI Strategic plan for the period 2017-2023, as well as to adoption of key administrative documents for the work of the EUROSAI organization. The reports on the activities of EUROSAI Presidency and General Secretariat, financial reports of the EUROSAI organization for the period 2017-2020, as well as draft budget of EUROSAI for the period 2022-2024 have been approved at the XI EUROSAI Congress. The National audit office of the United Kingdom and Lithuania have been appointed as members of the EUROSAI Governing Board, while the Supreme audit office of Croatia and Bulgaria have been appointed as EUROSAI auditors for the new three-year mandate. The Congress has gathered together representatives of 48 supreme audit institutions, members of the EUROSAI organization, as well as numerous observers.

The host of the XI EUROSAI Congress has been the National audit office of the Czech Republic. The next XII EUROSAI Congress will be held in Israel, in 2023.
