Published Audit Report of the Annual Financial Statement of the Movement for Pljevlja for 2016

Podgorica, 30th December 2017 – The State audit institution has carried out financial audit of the Annual financial statement and regularity audit of the Movement for Pljevlja for 2016.

Based on the conducted audit, determined facts and the statement of the audited entity to the Preliminary Statement of the SAI, the competent Auditing Board comprised of a member of the Senate Nikola Kovačević, Head of the Auditing Board and president of the Senate, Milan Dabović, PhD, a member of the Auditing Board, has expressed unqualified opinion on Annual Financial Statement and unqualified opinion with emphasis of matter on regularity audit.

The financial audit has found that the Annual Financial Statement of the Movement for Pljevlja for 2016 was, in all materially significant aspects prepared and presented in fair and objective manner in line with the applicable financial reporting framework.

The regularity audit has found that the audited entity harmonized all the financial and other actions with laws and other regulations identified as the criteria for the given audit. Apart from unqualified audit opinion, the audited entity should plan revenues and expenses in a real manner and make adjustments to the Financial plan in the fiscal year in case of realization of revenues and expenses in less or larger amount than planned ones. The audited entity should carry out inventory of the assets and liabilities in a manner prescribed by the Rulebook.

By auditing the Annual Financial Statement of the Movement for Pljevlja for 2016, the SAI has checked the implementation of recommendations given in the Audit report for the previous year and it has determined that the Party partially implemented one recommendation. The recommendation related to the obligation of the audited entity to conduct inventory of the assets and liabilities in line with the Regulation on the method and terms of inventory and reconciliation of book balance and the actual status and recommendation related to the obligation of presenting the same financial transaction in the same manner in different statements could not be checked, because the party did not conclude employment contracts and did not participate in the elections in 2016.

The final Audit Report of the Annual Financial Statement of the Movement for Pljevlja for 2016 has been published at the official web site of the State audit institution of Montenegro.
