Published Audit Report on Managing Business Premises

Podgorica, 16th October 2013 - Based on Annual audit plan for 2013, the State audit institution of Montenegro has performed the Audit on managing business premises.

Audit entities covered by the audit are: Property Administration and Ministry of finance. The State audit institution has performed a thematic audit – cross section audit of managing (leasing) business premises.

The subject to audit is current system of disposition and management of state property – official and business premises, allowance to use as well as lease business premises.

The objective of the audit is to estimate quality of established institutional and legislative framework including property register and to estimate economy of managing (leasing) business premises.

The State audit institution has performed regularity audit which includes examination of disposition and management of business premises in accordance with established criteria (regulations, decisions, legal acts) and audit of economy which should determine if the most appropriate and cheapest business premises were leased and if the set objectives of state bodies which used the premises were met.

Based on performed audit, determined factual state, the competent Collegium has given 10 recommendations with aim to eliminate determined irregularities.
